As a No Charge Customer Service, Electrum will analyze the solder and/or precious metal recycling items generated at your facility. Please provide a (1) pound representative sample of each item. After completing our analytical evaluation we shall provide assays and recovery information along with a detailed quotation based upon the quantity available and prevailing metal markets.
Upon receipt of each shipment, our plant identifies and weighs the items received and assigns an Electrum Lot Number. The lot number is our internal production and accounting reference for your material. An acknowledgement is then typed and returned to the customer listing skids, packages, items and weights. Attached to the acknowledgement you will find a Bill of Lading for your next shipment. (Replacement containers and labels are returned separately.)
Upon completion of lot processing, a detailed settlement is prepared with a clear and concise breakdown for each recycling item i.e., weights, recovery, payment, markets and sorting, if it was required.
We pay the freight cost from your generating facility to our recycling plant. Please identify the Electrum contract carrier and ship COLLECT.
As part of our recycling program, we provide customers with steel collection containers and lids at No Charge.
Note: If you have a special requirement, we shall try to accommodate.
